DESCRIPTION

Golf was first played at Knocke-sur-mer in 1899. Originally an off-shot of the Bruges Golf and Sport Club, it became the Knocke Golf Club in 1909, then rebuilt after damage in WW1 and renamed Royal Zoute in 1925.

A classic Harry Colt designed course. A mixture of mature trees and dunes with undulating greens. The venue of numerous Belgian Open Championships.

The professionals are unanimous in considering Royal Zoute as one of the most outstanding courses on the continent.
