DESCRIPTION

Aroeira I is known as the "Wentworth of the Lisbon Area".
6,122 metres and par 72. In play since 1973, this spectacular 18-hole championship golf course was designed by the architect Frank Pennick. Referred to by golf specialists as one of the best courses in Europe, Aroeira I hosted the Portugal Open in 1996 and 1997, various Ladies Open and the Qualifying School of the Ladies European Tour.
