General Conditions of Membership

The Golfing Elite membership card is not transferable and is only valid when signed by the member.

The Golfing Elite membership card is neither a credit card, nor proof of creditworthiness.

The Club agrees to extend all privileges and services to Golfing Elite members and their guests provided that:

  1. Golfing Elite members identify themselves at time of reservation and produce, upon request, a valid membership card
  2. Golfing Elite members and their guests comply with all Club rules including code of dress
  3. Golfing Elite members pay for goods and services with cash, credit card or cheque at time of purchase. Green fees and any other costs incurred by the member and their guest(s) are payable by the member and their guest(s)
  4. Golfing Elite members and guests play in the same pairing. (Maximum no of playing guests 3, plus member)

The Club’s right of refusal remains unaltered.

The Golfing Elite membership card should be presented on arrival, before full payment and before the receipt or bill is produced.

Membership of Golfing Elite is not a means to circumvent the purchase of full golf club membership of a participating Club. Members are monitored to ensure repetitive tee-times are not requested at a specific Club. Access to all participating Clubs is subject to availability and at their discretion.

Please note that while every endeavour is made to keep the information up to date, green fees are subject to change. Members are advised to confirm the green fees at time of reservation.

Golfing Elite cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other external green fee discount promotion.

Golfing Elite cannot be held responsible for disputes that may occur between the member and an establishment or service organisation, nor for any defects in goods or services.

Golf tee times are always subject to availability. A cancellation fee may be applied if cancelling within 12 hours of booked tee time (cancellation policies vary dependent on Golf Club, please check at time of reservation)

Golfing Elite members must abide by any cancellation policy indicated by the Golf Club or Resort. Golfing Elite members are reminded they may be liable for a loss of deposit or payment of a no-show charge in the event of cancellation after the specified deadline.

Clubs may require playing handicaps, and reserve the right to request handicap certificates, from the Golfing Elite member and playing guests prior to play.

All participating Clubs are owned and operated by third party organisations. The member and any participating guests must abide by the rules and policies of each participating Club. Golfing Elite has no control over the facilities offered, the opening/closing times or the personnel employed by the Clubs. Golfing Elite does not warrant nor guarantee in any way that said benefits and facilities will be available at the time of the member’s visit. Neither is Golfing Elite liable for any loss to the member, or any accompanying guests, arising from the provision or non-provision (whether in whole or part) of any of the advertised benefits or facilities.

The Golfing Elite membership card remains the property of Golfing Elite and must be surrendered on demand in any case of use or attempted use contrary to these terms and conditions.

Establishments listed on this website have signed agreements with Golfing Elite to grant the stated concessions to holders of valid Golfing Elite cards. Any instance where the card is not honoured should be reported to Golfing Elite, together with full details. However, Golfing Elite cannot be held responsible if establishments refuse entry, are taken over, or cease trading, nor for any defects in goods or services.

The information provided is gathered and summarised from many sources considered to be reliable. Whilst every endeavour is made to ensure accuracy the nature of some of the information is time sensitive and variable dependent upon the source. Therefore, we cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies.

Some facilities offered as part of Golfing Elite services are provided by contractors over whom Golfing Elite has not control. Golfing Elite with endeavour to ensure the benefits are upheld, but cannot guarantee the facilities will be available.

Golfing Elite cannot accept responsibility for errors, omissions or misrepresentations which may occur.

The renewal of membership shall be at the option of Golfing Elite in their sole discretion Golfing Elite reserve the right to cancel a membership at any time.

A member may resign his membership at any time by letter addressed to Golfing Elite but shall be liable for his subscription for the year during which he resigns. If resignation is made after the renewal date, no refund will be applicable.

Free Lounge Pass Visit Conditions

One free lounge visit per member per annual membership at any lounges participating in Lounge Pass at the time of booking.

Redemption of the free lounge visit must occur during the year of membership and cannot be carried over into any subsequent years of membership.

No refund of annual membership can be given once the free lounge pass visit has been redeemed.

All persons must be in possession of a valid flight ticket for the same day of travel and outside the US, flight tickets must be accompanied by a valid boarding pass for a departing flight, i.e. outbound passengers only.

Please note some lounges in Europe are located within designated Schengen areas of the airport which means that access is only provided to these lounges if members are travelling between Schengen countries. (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden).

Admittance to the Lounges participating is conditional upon a valid Lounge Pass being presented at Reception by the customer when entering a Lounge.

Entry to each Lounge is only permitted on the date of travel and for the number of persons shown on the Lounge Pass.

Additional persons may only be admitted to a Lounge at the discretion of the Lounge’s Reception staff and will be charged an entry fee at the time where applicable.

Lounge Pass provides the holders with a maximum stay of 3 hours in the booked Lounge.

For extended stays, use of the Lounge is at the discretion of the Lounge staff and any charge for an extension must be paid directly to the Lounge staff at the time required.

Children (where permitted) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Any infants or children causing upset to other users' comfort may be asked to vacate the Lounge facilities.

You are allowed to include a maximum of 5 passengers per booking (including where permitted infants and children). If you have more than 5 passengers in your party or for a group booking please contact the Golf Concierge giving at least 7 days notice.

All persons entering a Lounge with a Lounge Pass must abide by the rules and policies of that Lounge and must behave and dress in an orderly and correct manner. Lounge staff have the right to refuse entry to any person who is intoxicated or behaving in a disorderly fashion at their discretion and no refund will be given for any Lounge Pass that cannot be used for this reason.

A Lounge Pass only provides the customer with admittance to a Lounge. All facilities and refreshments that may be available inside any Lounge are provided at the sole discretion of the Lounge’s managers and are outside Golfing Elite's control.

Golfing Elite shall not be held liable for either the non-provision of any facilities and refreshments inside a Lounge or for the cost of any facilities and refreshments that are provided and charged to any persons entering with a Lounge Pass.

A full refund of the Lounge Pass cost will be given for a cancelled lounge booking where this is notified to Golfing Elite in writing by letter, fax or email at least 24 hours prior to the departure date. The full Lounge Pass cost will be refunded back to the credit/payment card used for the initial purchase. No refund will be given for any cancellation notified to Lounge Pass less than 24 hours before the flight departure time and date.

Golfing Elite reserves the right to charge the customer’s designated credit card for the full cost of any Lounge Pass where that Lounge Pass was previously cancelled and a refund made to the customer and the cancelled Lounge Pass was subsequently presented at the booked lounge and used to gain admittance by the customer and/or any other persons shown on the cancelled Lounge Pass.

Any disputes on matters not relating to Golfing Elite that occur between Lounge staff and any person entering with a Lounge Pass are to be settled by the individual and the Lounge without recourse to the managers of Golfing Elite. Golfing Elite shall not be held liable for any such disputes, which are outside its control.

Golfing Elite shall not be held liable for any loss or personal injury suffered inside a Lounge by any person who has entered with a Golfing Elite. Any loss or damage caused inside a Lounge by any person who has entered with a Lounge Pass is the sole responsibility of that person and Golfing Elite shall not be held liable for any costs of repair or compensation that are rightfully payable by the person causing the loss or damage.

Golfing Elite shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss incurred by a customer or guest who misses their flight whilst visiting a lounge on a Lounge Pass.

Free Golf Club Hire Conditions

One hire of a set of golf clubs per annum, at any golf club participating in Golfing Elite, will be paid for by Golfing Elite.

Redemption of the free club hire visit must occur during the year of membership and cannot be carried over into any subsequent years of membership.

Free golf club hire must be pre-arranged with the Golfing Elite Golf Concierge at 48 hours prior to the day of play.

Golfing Elite cannot guarantee the availability of hired golf clubs at any participating course and are not liable for finding a set of hired clubs from a third party source.

Golfing Elite cannot guarantee the quality of hired golf clubs at any participating course.

Theft, loss or damage to a hired set of clubs is the responsibility of the Golfing Elite member. The golf club can reserve the right to guarantee loss, theft or damage by requesting a credit card from the member prior to play.

No refund of annual membership can be given once the free club hire has been redeemed.

Emergency Club Cover Conditions

A member may request a hired set of golf clubs to be paid for by Golfing Elite within 24 hours of completing a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with the airline held responsible for the loss of a set of their own golf clubs.

PIR identifier must be provided to the golf concierge at the time of request before .

The PIR must carry the member's name as the party bearing the loss.

Free golf club hire must be pre-arranged with the Golfing Elite golf concierge and booked by the golf concierge prior or on the day of play.

No retrospective claims will be allowed.

Golfing Elite cannot guarantee the availability of hired golf clubs at any participating course and are not liable for finding a set of hired clubs from a third party source.

Golfing Elite cannot guarantee the quality of hired golf clubs at any participating course.

Theft, loss or damage to a hired set of clubs is the responsibility of the Golfing Elite member. The golf club can reserve the right to guarantee loss, theft or damage by requesting a credit card from the member prior to play.
