The Zhuhai Golden Gulf Golf Club course is located on the 500-hectare sea-filled land which is a 30 minute drive from downtown Zhuhai.

The sandy soil of the 27-hole golf course, designed by Colin Montgomerie, is complemented by the design of the course's bent grass grown on the fairways and rough. Tifdwarf and Bermuda were adopted for the greens.

What comes into the sight of the golfer when they first come to the golf course, is that it is surrounded by water and yet only three holes require the player to hit across the lakes. Most of the lakes are by the holes and will not create too many problems for the average golfer.
