Golfing Elite welcomes The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island to the golf resort programme.
This luxury oceanfront resort in South Carolina lies on a barrier island just 21 miles from historic Charleston. The Sanctuary offers elegant accommodation and a variety of services such as tennis facilities and a spa.
The highlight for most people though is the five championship golf courses.

Pete Dye's Ocean Course was the venue for the Ryder Cup in 2001. The course was recently renovated and offers panoramic ocean views from every hole. This is a windswept masterpiece offering an unrivaled sense of golf history and traditions.
Turtle Point was designed by Jack Nicklaus Carefully sculpted bunkers and green complexes highlight Nicklaus's meticulous approach to the game. The pinnacle of the course is three spectacular ocean holes running right along the coast.
Tom Fazio designed the characteristic Osprey Point course which offers unique marshland golf with four lakes, and fringes of saltwater march. Despite the plentiful hazards this course retains the playability for which Fazio's designs are so renowned.
Cougar Point was designed by Gary Player and is a vast green course which had generous fairways contrasted by tight greens. Running along the Kiawah River this course offers sweeping views of the river and the saltwater marsh lands.
Oak Point designed by Clyde Johnson traverses the grounds of an old Indigo and Cotton plantation. Bordered by the historic Haulover Creek and the Kiawah River the course offers challenging golf and beautiful views of the area.
All golf courses are private and can only be played by hotel guests. Golfing Elite members staying at Kiawah Island are offered 10% off accommodation rack rates
