 ROYAL PARC EVIAN

RECEIVE DISCOUNTED GREEN FEES AT ROYAL PARC EVIAN

Royal Parc Evian is a subtle combination of elegance and comfort. The 154 rooms and suites are a splendid interpretation of the French "Art De Vivre", while at Hotel Ermitage; luxury is discreet and is softened by an atmosphere which is intimate, welcoming and relaxed. An air of tenderness reigns in the 91 rooms and suites.

The Evian Masters Golf Course is reputed for its technical nature which every year attracts the best women players in the world. This 6006 metre par 72 18 hole private parkland course, redesigned by Cabell B. Robinson in 1990, has been revived and much improved.

The replacement of the par 3 3rd hole has seen many changes; the greens are now well defended with a series of sand-hills and easy-to-hit bunkers, placing greater emphasis on the technical side of the game. While high handicappers may not appreciate these changes, it has helped the course recover its status as one of the best in the region. It is very hilly, but not very long, and the steep slopes can be deceiving. The short par 3 15th hole is spectacular overlooking Lake Geneva. The golf club has a driving range and two pitching greens.

The club house has changing facilities and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also has a bar facility. The club shop can provide club, trolley, buggy hire as well as a caddy and the club professional provides tuition. The handicap requirement for men and women is 35.
