	DESCRIPTION
		The Arabella Golf Club was awarded the Golf Digest award for best new golf course in 1999. The course was designed by Matkovich and Hayes, and has already been unofficially rated in the top 5 in South Africa by some golf scribes. The course is 6,095 metres in length and has a par of 72. Selecting a signature hole at this course is an almost impossible task - take your pick, there are so many possibilities, however the 17th par 3 rates as one of the all-time best holes and as one of the best par 3's ever. The 18th hole runs parallel to the lagoon, and the club house at the hotel is considered to be one of the most luxurious and modern in the country and offers a restaurant, bar and changing facilities. The caddies are uniformly dressed in smart white outfits with the course logo and are exceptionally well trained. Club/trolley/buggy hire can be arranged and a Professional on hand to offer tuition. Facilities also include pitch and putting greens.
