The Pevero Golf Club is rightfully considered among the most beautiful in the world, not just because of the spectacular nature of the course, but also for the unforgettable charm of the panorama.
The club sits between the Pevero Gulf and the Cala di Volpe Bay in in a harmonious Mediterranean location, covered with broom and myrtle, sweet smelling bushes laden with berries and all nestled between natural lakes and rock formations. A land stretched out like a natural green carpet, the fruits of a meticulous and scientific study of the winds, rain, terrain and temperature levels, resulting in a course that sees the hills meld with the emerald waters of the sea. The eighteen holes that meander through a fascinating pattern, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. has been one of the most admired courses in the entire world of golf.
The holes are placed on an extraordinary path where the mistral, the renowned north wind that defines the rocks of the entire area, increases the difficulty of each shot. Each hole of the course offers a unique and unmatched experience. The course consists of eighteen holes, a par 72, on a squared surface of approximately 4 miles. Such is the case in every aspect of the courses difficulty, with its treacherous obstacles that require very high degrees of concentration and absolute game precision. To safeguard the score, it is fundamentally imperative to avoid the rough, as it is one of the most punishing known to exist, and offers little hope of recovery.
