The Moor Park estate dates back to the 17th century and has been the home of Queens, Archbishops and Peers of the Realm. The Grade I listed mansion was designed in the eighteenth century and is a magnificent example of classic English architecture.
Two quality courses exist on the grounds - the High course (which is the favoured course) and the West course. The High course, designed by Harry S. Colt, has hosted both professional tournaments and E.G.U. national events and is considered the more demanding of the two courses. With some long par 4's and tricky par 3's, the back nine are especially memorable. The West course is not as demanding and shorter than the High course but still a good test of golf for players of all abilities.
