    DESCRIPTION

Kungsängen Golf Club is a leading Swedish golf venue which features two 18 hole courses; the King's, measuring 6,149 metres with a par of 72, and the Queen's, measuring 5546 metres with a par of 70. The club is situated only 25 minutes from Stockholm, and is the ideal venue to enjoy a round of golf and enjoy the luxurious facilities within the recently refurbished club house.

The Championship King's Course pine forests surrounding this undulating course. Granite and natural water features are an integral part of this tough test of golf designed by one of the best-known names in Swedish golf, Anders Forsbrand, in association with European Golf Design. The layout of holes 6 and 7 present a dramatic effect of an innate amphitheatre and Forsbrand has created an excellent test golf which maximises the local topography throughout this course.

Kungsängen Golf Club will be the venue for the 2005 Scandinavian Masters. In previous years, the club has hosted the 1998, 2000 and 2002 Scandinavian Masters with Jesper Parnevik, Lee Westwood and Graeme McDowell respective winners.
