In 1994, the course was chosen for both the Alfred Dunhill Masters and the Johnny Walker Skins Tournaments.
This par 72, 18 hole championship course with a total yardage of 6871 was designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright. It was voted by Fortune Magazine as 'One of Asia's 5 Best Golf Courses'. Occupying a truly unique setting, golfers will experience three distinct playing environments. The 1st to 9th holes play inland and uphill through dense tropical vegetation and provide the player with great views of Nusa Dua, the Indian Ocean and on a clear day a view of the distant mountains. The 10th to 16th holes present the golfer with gently sculptured fairways through a mature coconut grove. Some are as tall as 100 feet and provide vertical definition to the golf course. The third setting centres around the 17th and 18th holes which have a beautiful setting by the sea. The 17th usually plays into a cool ocean breeze, the 18th plays from the beach back to the club house alongside a 16 acre lake.
The golf club features an elegant club house with a restaurant offering spectacular views of the ocean. There are also two bars and two halfway houses with a food and drink service located on the course. The club shop can arrange tuition with the club pro and rental of club/buggy/trolley hire.
